One of the beauties of Access 20010 is its ability to interact seamlesly with other Microsoft products like WORD and Excel. Although Access does Pivot Tables and Charts, the dream machine for Tables and Charts is Microsoft Excel. But most businesses of any size keep the bulk of their data in a database, not a spreadsheet. |
The First thing you need is a query dialog:
Whether in Access or Excel, it is easy to bring up a query dialog. Select the criteria you want then press OK.
This brings up a Pivot table - In Excel. Slice it, Dice it, Manipulate it any way you want!
For new data select the Fetch button.
With the click of a button - turn it into a Chart!
